Laura Mac
Laura began singing at the age of eight at a local drama group, and by the age of 16 had started singing professionally. During this time Laura was also studying full time at college for her National Diploma in Performing Arts. After passing her course with distinction she joined a band, They travel all over the UK and abroad to Germany, Dubai, Majorca and Russia.
Laura decided to go solo for two years, but really missed the excitement of being in a band and as her Fiancée was a guitarist she decided to put it to good use! So Abbarettes The Band and Disco Feva were formed! Laura loves running the band, and is looking forward to a busy year ahead!
Amanda Kay
Amanda started singing from an early age, and once she had finished college decided to go travelling to fulfil her passion for singing! From Ibiza to Menorca she travelled around Europe singing for a living, and loved ever minute of it! After returning home she soon met Laura who was looking for a girl singer! They performed as Abbarettes the Duo for a year before putting the band together.
Daniel Winters
Daniel has been writing music from the age of ten and been performing to audiences since he was twelve. He studied at college for his National Diploma in Music Technology and after passing the course with a distinction, he went on to study the same subject at University. Having taken a step back from the stage for the past three years, Daniel is thrilled to be back performing all over the UK. Being part of Abbarettes The Band and Disco Feva is a different and exciting change for Daniel, and he is loving every second of his time with the band!
Jonathon Purdey
Jonathon's full time job is a primary school teacher, whose hobby is playing the guitar. After learning as a young child, he has always had a love of playing throughout his teens, and after meeting Laura didn't realise how close to his dream of being able to perform in a band he would be!! Jon loves being part of a show, and with his teaching skills can always keep us in check!!
